PROJECT SUMMARY

The original Williams residence went through demolition to prepare for the construction of a new home with a great room connecting the guest house/garage and the main house. The design of the house was split into two phases. During Phase I, the new garage with an above guest house designed as a bunk house type layout with bathroom was planned out. Phase II required occupying of the guest house so that the existing house could be demolished and the new two level house with a crawl space could be built. The first floor of the new residence included a living room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom, bathroom and great room. The upper floor included simply one bedroom and bath.

The living room of the main house was made to be a quiet area, more personal and intimate for when the Owners did not have any guests over. The living room was designed to have fewer windows compared to the more pubic great room space, which was intended to be used as the party center of the house when friends and family gathered together.
