The community of Kalamazoo was enhanced through this successfully executed Barrier Free Ramp solution that captured substantive cost solution. The Barrier Free Ramp exceeded the expectation to create an improved aesthetic to Kalamazoo's City Hall building by removing an incompatible addition, while also improving the lives of those members within the community that were in need of effective ramp support. This City Hall project also received the 2009 Award of Merit from the Kalamazoo Preservation Commission.
