ST. JOSEPH COUNTY COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

PROJECT SUMMARY

In order to increase productivity and efficient patient and employee flow within the facility, Schley Nelson created a building design that combined all four of the existing CMH facilities into one new and improved facility found in a single central location under one roof. It was an essential goal to create a final design that would allow the building, which includes Community Mental Health Services as well as Medical Clinic Services, to become more closely linked together to help with the cohesiveness of the day-to-day operations. Schley Nelson also made sure to put special effort to constructing a design that overcame the challenge of maintaining low maintenance and cost effectiveness for the facility.
